How to find a good primary school
It can be a real headache trying to find a good primary school for your child.
Here are some tips:
1. Find out which schools are near you on Littlelegends
2. Work out your priorities eg close to your home, good sports facilities
3. Check the league tables
4. Visit the school
5. Be aware of adminssions rules eg sibling priority, closest walking distance
6. Look out for schools that are up and coming
7. Find out what you can from other parents
8. Read Ofsted reports
9. Private vs State - moving to a good catchment area for a state school might only be worth it financially if you are educating 2+ kids.
10. Use other resources such as Schoolsnet and the Good Schools Guide (strong independent bias)
