British Parent Bloggers
A huge thanks and vote of encouragement should go to Erica and David. They’ve been working hard on a great idea: BritishParentBloggers.com.
Why such a good idea?
Well for one, at the start of the year when Vicky and I kicked off Little Legends, we found it very hard to get a sense of what British parents were blogging about. In fact it was tricky to even find Brit parents with blogs. We definitely had a few evenings wondering whether it was something US parents did, but either hadn’t or wouldn’t make it over here. So I’m very much looking forward to seeing how this community-driven project develops.
Second, it looks like it could become an invaluable resource. (The draft weekly schedule covers everything from providing a geek-free intro to setting up a blog, to community writing projects and blogger introductions.) As such, it looks like BPB could provide two things: a focal-point for finding other British Parent Bloggers, and a jumping-off point from which you can start exploring what other BPBers are chatting about. All very much worthwhile.
Third, last, and definitely not least: it looks fun

I joined up to British Parent Bloggers immediately, I agree it is a great idea,and being part of it from the very beginning is really exciting. Erica is doing a wonderful job for British parents.
